Lina (Lin Andrea) received her master’s in Speech Language Pathology from University of Colorado Boulder (CU), her bachelor’s degree is in International Studies and French. Lina is a native Spanish speaker from Colombia and has a special interest in working with multicultural communities as well as with underserved populations.
In Colorado, she had the opportunity to work with pediatric populations through the Boulder County Head Start program, the Child Learning Center at CU and through her externship at Children’s Hospital of Colorado in Denver.
Lina loves that her profession allows her to combine her love for languages with her knowledge of cognitive and social-emotional language development.
Lina enjoys working collaboratively with families by introducing functional strategies and culturally relevant materials that promote generalization into the child’s home.
Lina is certified in Langmore Foundation FEES and the Lee Silverman Voice Treatment (LOUD) program.
